Thanks for getting in touch with me. I always love doing a photo booth. Let me quickly explain what I do, how much it costs, and why I'm better than the other options.

When I do a photo booth, I set up a back drop, lights, and my camera. I'll bring along my own props to have people dress up and use. I'll have them line up in groups, usually up to 6, and snap 3 to 5 photographs. I'll encourage them to sign up for my newsletter, so I can get their email addresses and send them a link to the photo and they can request a download. Generally, I need a space about 8' x 10' to set up and ask that the host provide a table for me to set up props and signage. I can usually have the photos edited and delivered two weeks after the event. I don't print on site, but I deliver the photos digitally either by disc or digital download and release reproduction rights to the purchaser.

My pricing structure is pretty simple. It costs $90 to set up (which includes time spent setting up and tearing down PLUS time spent editing the photos) + $50/hr. I have additional fees if there will be alcohol at the event ($60/hr instead of $50/hr) and for hours worked past 11p. The most popular option is 2 hours at $190. I also like to get a $50 deposit upfront for booking dates a couple months in advance.

There are a couple reasons to hire me over other options. One, though I don't have a traditional booth, I can fit a lot more people comfortably into a photo. Most actual booths are pretty cramped and can only fit 1 or 2 people in them. I recommend a maximum group of 6, but have photographed larger groups. I can also add the human touch and make sure that the photo looks good before moving on--something a machine won't do. Finally, you can't beat the price. Though I don't print on site, I can beat the competition on price by several hundred dollars--most photo booth rentals cost $500-$1000. There's no way you're going to spend near that amount on me even if you do print the photos on your own. Besides, most people want to post their photos to Facebook, an option that I allow.
